about

Daedalus was a famous craftsman/artisan from Greek mythology. He escaped the Labrynth that King Minos had him build and entrapped in by the help of his daughter, and was later imprisoned for it, along with his son Icarus. While in prison, he fashioned two pairs of wings (one for him, one for his son) to use to escape imprisonment and flee from the island of Crete. Daedalus warned Icarus not to fly too close too the sun, lest the wax holding them together melt; he ignored this rule, and in a fit of overwhelming joy, he ascended into the sky and melted his wings, sending him hurdling to his death.

This track is meant to be played in a repetitious loop, reminiscent of Daedalus and Icarus flying side by side through the sky together. It is yet another track off of my upcoming EP, which is about halfway completed. All money from this track will go into refining the quality of the EP, and will also help fund recording equipment for my band. If enough money is raised, then I can throw in some goodies as extras for download.
